Exhibition Announcement: New Work at Bliss Home during September

Here are some nice words from Bliss Home about my show that has been there for the last month and my upcoming show beginning Friday:

Due to the positive response to her work, BLISS HOME has invited Beth Meadows back for more First Friday Fun as our featured artist in September!

“We’re thrilled by the tremendous reaction that Beth’s show received at its unveiling and throughout the month. We wanted to extend her exhibit so more Knoxvillians can experience her art,” notes Bliss Home Lead Design Consultant, Cherie Piercy.

Bliss Home will host a reception to reveal Beth’s new additions to her exhibit at 29 Market Square, from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, September 7.

I am showing some staples (Mason Jar paintings, but for the first time on slate) and also the beginning of a new series using lace and paint. Please stop in during September if you can.

Exhibition Announcement: Bliss Home
I am very excited to be showing work at Bliss Home on Market Square this Friday, August 3 through the end of September.

There will be an opening reception this Friday for First Friday from 6-9pm. Come and eat cheese cubes with me.

As the weeks of the show progress, the work will change, especially when September hits, so please check in a few times.

Bliss asked me some questions about my work and this show and posted it on their website. You may read the interview here.

Exhibition Announcement: RAW Nashville, June 21
My birthday is next week, and I have two wishes.

One, a hula hoop.

And two...

I would love, love, love if you purchased a ticket to my next art show.

I'm really excited about this exhibition. I'll be showing in Nashville for the first time next Thursday, June 21 at Mercy Lounge from 8pm to 12am. I've been asked by the organization Raw: Natural Born Artists to be a part of this monthly, multi-artist show.

It lasts one night and gives visual artists, musicians, fashion designers, photographers, and more a chance to showcase their work together. I will also have the chance to show in other cities nationwide through Raw once I show in Nashville.

Tickets are $10 and I have about 10 more to sell. To buy one from me, you can visit my Raw Artist Profile Page. If you'd rather not pay using paypal, you can pay me directly. Email me at beth@bethmeadows.com, and we can work it out.

I hope you can come, but even if you can't, you can still sponsor me by purchasing a ticket.

This is a small but huge way to support me and help me get the ball rolling to show in other cities.

It will also be a great start to my 28th year!
Next Show: Three Rivers Market
About twenty of my mason jar paintings and a couple of other pieces will be hanging at Three Rivers Market next Wednesday, May 30, through Sunday, July 1, so while you're shopping there over the next month, please take a look. If you've never been there, I suggest going for their hot bar at lunch. My co-workers are obsessed and I finally found out why last week. Delicious.

I'm excited because I think the mason jars will be perfect there, and it will be a good chance to see how they look all together. Everything will be for sale, and if you buy six or more mason jar paintings, they are $5 off each.  They will also be available via my Etsy shop, and as they sell, I'll keep adding more to the wall at Three Rivers, so feel free to purchase however you'd like.

Here are a few that I've recently listed on Etsy:

Hope you can stop in.
