(2021) acrylic, colored pencil, and paint pen on illustration board, 16x20” From my aspirational interiors series, I used a magazine photo as inspiration, but changed the colors and added the socks. I was looking at a Richard Scarry book at the time, a children’s book illustrator who drew so many objects, like socks… and labeled them. The best.
