Custom Pet Portrait on Solid Pine

150.00

Please contact me to find out the completion date.

Materials: acrylic, spray paint and/or paint pen on hand-cut solid pine

3.4” thick and 12-15” maximum length or width

Commemorate your precious cat or dog by having its beautiful body shape cut out of wood and hand-painted.

I make each pet by first sketching it, cutting out the drawing to make a template, cutting the pine with a bandsaw, and painting and drawing it with all or some of these materials: spray paint, acrylic, and/or paint pens. I add a bracket to the back, so you can hang it on a nail, and bumpers to protect your wall. I varnish it with a UV protectant varnish spray. The back is signed and dated and includes the name of your pet.

What I need from you:

  • Please send a high quality photograph of your pet in the exact position and with the exact expression you'd like to beth@bethmeadows.com. Natural lighting is ideal, so a photo taken outside works best.

  • Tell me the colors of your pet’s fur and eyes.

  • Name of your pet.
